Google Analytics and cookies

What we use: Google Analytics 4 counts visits, shows which pages are used, and records successful form submissions and clicks to email or call, where those features are available. It loads only after you choose Accept.

What it collects: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate city-level location and how you arrived at the site. We do not send names, email addresses or phone numbers to Google Analytics. Calculator inputs, search queries and URL parameters are not sent.

Cookies: after you opt in, Google Analytics sets first-party _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies. Your choice is saved in this browser’s local storage as fl_consent for 12 months. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation are always disabled. Google Signals is disabled.

Your choice: Cookie settings lets you accept, decline or withdraw consent at any time. Declining keeps Google Analytics off. Withdrawing stops analytics requests and deletes its cookies. You can use the site either way.

Shop links carry a page source tag. If you accept analytics, clicking a shop link also creates a random visitor identifier in the sv_ref_vid cookie and sends it to Sterivial to connect a referral with a purchase. The cookie lasts up to 12 months. Declining or withdrawing consent prevents this identifier being added and removes this cookie. No calculator entries are included.
